After an espresso in one of the most historic bars that overlooks the main square of Valdobbiadene, we head towards Bigolino riding through a scenic countryside road surrounded by vineyards. Once in the direction of Col San Martino you’ll be blown away by the beauty of countless rows of vines that decorate the hills. You could also pull in a visit to the San Vigilio Church with frescoes that date back to the 15th century.
Continuing towards Campea and Premaor, there are two charming villages set deep in the hills, where you’ll find yourself surrounded by one of the most amazing rural and charming atmospheres. As you move on, after a short climb to reach Follina, which is one of the most beautiful villages in this area of Italy, the mills and traditions will take you on an adventure back through time. Here, you can visit the Cistercian Abbey which dates back to the 12th century, and be enchanted by the mystical feeling of its elegant cloister.
After enjoying a brief stop in Follina, the road moves ahead towards Combai where you’ll find one of the oldest vineyards of glera in the heart of the DOCG Prosecco. Once you’re in Combai you can enjoy the view and taste the local produce from of the area including IGP chestnuts.
